Your calculations stay in your browser. Shared links contain project data, and emails you send are received through Gmail. The details below explain each path separately.

1. Scope and contact
This policy explains how Concrete Calculator at concrete-calculator.me handles information when you use the calculator, create a project link, export an estimate, or contact its operator. It covers the current free calculator, not services that may be added later.
The website operator is responsible for information received through the site's support mailbox. Calculator inputs processed only on your device are not a database held by the operator. A privacy question or request can be sent to the contact address below without creating an account.
2. Measurements and calculations on your device
The calculator uses the dimensions, units, shape, area names, quantity, reserve, bag yield, currency and optional prices you enter to calculate estimates in your browser. The current application has no endpoint that submits these inputs or calculated results to us, and no account or cloud project storage.
Inputs are held in the current page's memory. The application does not save them in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Reloading normally loads the example, unless a shared project is present in the URL. Browser session restoration, history, extensions or device backups may separately retain information; those features are controlled by your browser or device provider.
Names and measurements can still reveal personal or commercial information when combined with other details. Use descriptive labels such as 'Patio' instead of a customer's name, home address or confidential job reference.
4. Clipboard, downloads, printing and 3D preview
Copy results, Share project and Copy email write the requested text to your clipboard after you activate them. The application does not read unrelated clipboard contents. Your operating system or clipboard synchronization service may retain copied text.
Download creates a text file locally, and Print estimate uses your browser's printing facilities. A saved PDF, downloaded file, print service or physical printout is under your control. Check the destination and any cloud synchronization settings before saving private project information.
The interactive preview renders geometry locally using browser graphics capabilities. It does not request your camera, microphone or precise location. Fonts and application assets are served with the website rather than loaded from a remote font service.
5. Feedback and other email correspondence
Opening the feedback dialog does not send a message. A mailto link asks your configured email application to compose one; you decide whether to send it. If you email us, we receive the sender address, any display name, message content, attachments and delivery information included by the email services.
We use correspondence to answer questions, investigate errors, consider improvements, handle privacy requests and protect the service against abuse. Feedback is not a subscription to marketing messages. Do not send passwords, payment card details, identity documents or confidential information belonging to someone else.
The published support address uses Gmail. Google and your own email provider process messages and related technical information under their applicable service terms and privacy practices. Sending an attachment or project link to us deliberately shares its contents, even though ordinary calculations remain on your device.
6. Website requests and technical records
Loading any website requires its hosting infrastructure to receive connection information, such as an IP address, requested path, time, browser or user-agent details, response status and, where supplied by the browser, a referring page. These records can be used to deliver pages, diagnose failures and prevent abuse. They are distinct from the calculator's in-browser inputs.
The website is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests to deliver content, operate its network and help protect the service. Vercel may process technical information including IP addresses, request metadata and approximate location derived from an IP address. These infrastructure activities are separate from our calculator, which does not submit your project inputs. The absence of application analytics does not mean that the hosting infrastructure keeps no logs.
8. Purposes and legal grounds where required
Where a law requires a legal basis, necessary support correspondence and proportionate security processing rely on legitimate interests in responding to requests and maintaining a usable, secure service, subject to the protections and balancing required by that law. Records needed to comply with a binding legal requirement are processed for that obligation. If a particular optional use requires consent, we will ask separately and allow withdrawal.
This policy is an explanation of processing, not a blanket consent request. We do not treat it as authorization to use support messages for unrelated marketing or to introduce undisclosed tracking. The precise legal obligations depend on the operator's location, the service's activities and the laws applicable to the affected person.
9. Recipients and international processing
Information you send may be accessible to the operator and to providers needed to deliver email or operate the website. We may disclose relevant information when required by a valid legal process, or where lawfully necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. This is not permission for unrestricted disclosure.
Providers may process information outside your country. Applicable protections depend on the provider, location and contractual arrangements. We do not claim that all information remains in one country. Vercel and Google describe their processing locations and transfer practices in their published privacy and contractual information.
Links to manufacturers, standards references and other sources lead to independent websites. We do not control their collection, retention or security practices. Review their notices before submitting information to them.
10. How long information is kept
There is no server-held calculator project to retain or delete in the current application. The lifetime of local exports, browser history, synchronized links and printouts is determined by your own device settings and the recipients you choose.
For support correspondence, the retention criteria are whether the request remains open, whether follow-up or verification of a reported issue is needed, and whether a specific security incident, legal obligation or dispute requires a record. Identifying information should be removed or the correspondence deleted when those purposes end. A fixed mailbox deletion schedule has not yet been adopted; this notice does not promise automatic deletion after a set number of days.
Mailbox backups and service-provider copies may follow different deletion cycles. Vercel technical records follow its applicable service settings and retention practices. A runtime-log viewing window is not a guarantee that all infrastructure or security records are erased at that time. You may ask about the records associated with your message or request deletion using the contact details below.
11. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights have conditions and exceptions.
Email the contact address with 'Privacy request' in the subject, explain your request and identify the correspondence concerned. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns you; do not send identity documents unless a justified, secure method has been arranged. We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful restriction or refusal.
We cannot retrieve calculator values that were never submitted to us, or delete copies on someone else's device. You may also complain to the data protection or privacy regulator competent for your location. Contacting us first is welcome but does not remove your right to contact a regulator.
12. Security and younger users
No website, email service or device can promise absolute security. Avoid sharing sensitive project information unnecessarily. Report a suspected exposure by email with enough detail to locate it, but do not include other people's private information in an ordinary message.
This general-purpose planning tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information may contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action. Do not submit personal information if local law requires parental authorization that you do not have.
13. Changes to this policy
The date at the top identifies this version. We will update this policy when relevant practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. A new policy does not by itself authorize incompatible use of information collected under an earlier promise. Future accounts, payments or tracking require a new review before release.
